When I see the world at war I fear for our world. Terrorists want us to live in fear. I believe in God & His promises but it’s still scary to watch everything that is happening. Sometimes I even feel guilty eating , shopping, sleeping in a warm bed etc. when I know there’s adults & children starving & living in poverty. I stay grateful because I know it can all be taken away in the blink of an eye.

1 John 4:4 – Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The earliest conversations as a kid in High school with my grandpa went a little like this :

Grandpa: “I don’t believe in God because if He was so good why would he let all these bad things happen”
Me: Give your life to Jesus grandpa it’s the only way,
God sent His only Son into the world to die for the world and to defeat evil. Evil was defeated officially at Christ’s first coming through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 2:14, Ephesians 4:7-12)

Grandpa: Oh nevermind

Yup my grandpa is an atheist but my grandma and mom believed in God. My grandpa & little sister call me a Jesus freak but I don’t care. It is what it is. Everyone is on their own journey & I can respect that.

I’m a sinner, you are a sinner, we all sin in different ways. No one is perfect. Bless those who curse and do evil against you & against the world.

We were given free will. Humans are capable of free choices that bring disease, disaster and death. This is the world in which we live. We all have a choice to be good or evil. Some people don’t even have a choice & it’s what they are born into.

I have been through so many ugly moments in my life & have seen evil but I have never nor will I ever question God. His love is the only thing that can get me & us through it all.
All I can do is pray. That’s all we have. The Father, The Son & the Holy Spirit. Each day is a gift, we are so blessed to have freedom.

He promised us eternal life. I do want to get to Heaven.

 

Life is short. We will never know how long it will last or what age we will be when have our final curtain call.

We all should be prepared to meet our God at any moment.

Nobody’s invincible, no plan is foolproof. We all must meet our moment of truth
