I can’t get enough of this drugstore mascara. It’s better than the expensive department store stuff. Can we talk about how attractive the bottle is ? I mean it’s not your average mascara bottle right ?! I love big thick dramatic lashes .

I’ve noticed that when I use products that have silicones my curls go away. I’ve been trying to use products that don’t have silicones (it seems like every hair product has them). What works for one person may not work for you, but these ingredients cause the same amount of damage to all hair types. A product with a lot of silicones that will coat your hair & you will need a clarifying shampoo to remove the build-up.
Water Soluble Silicones
Lauryl Methicone Copolyol
Hydrolyzed wheat protein (Hydroxypropyl Polysiloxane)
Any Silicone with PEG as a prefix
Non Soluble (not water soluble)
Fact: Soluble and non-soluble silicones coat the hair
Sulfates are also really damaging & most shampoos contain harsh, drying sulfates that are extremely damaging for curly hair (ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc
