Love being awake when my family is asleep. I get some nice relaxing me time to do facial masks!

And I’m usually doing a load of laundry while masks are on my face.

I don’t measure this when I mix it I just keep adding water until I get a nice smooth paste (not too thick). Okay & when this stuff dries on your skin you literally cannot even talk, smile etc. It’s so rad lol

I leave this mask on for like 30 minutes; my skin is red afterwards but it goes away by morning. I have combination skin & I use this once a month.

The terry cloth headband is from Sally’s #Iloveit

World-renowned Mexican marketplace. I brought my daughter to eat a tamale today at Olvera street. I love coming to this place, it’s a place where my mom would take me when I was a little girl. If you are in LA you should definetly stop by it’s a fun place with a bunch of nice people, good music, beautiful handmade art & yummy restaurants.

1 teaspoon olive oil
A few drops fresh lemon juice
1 egg white

Mix until smooth

I almost never pay retail price for my beauty products. As a licensed cosmetologist I get discounts on so many beauty products. This is one of my favorite perks that comes along with being in beauty industry.

Keep in mind that some companies will only give discounts to those working as a professional makeup artist, and some will extended discounts to cosmetologists.

The Beverly Hilton Gift Bag

Yesterday at work we got a cute tote filled with Loreal products. I love the lip colors!! I did some swatches on me & my co-workers hand & we both couldn’t remove the product after much scrubbing, definitely a very long lasting lip stain. Next we received an eyeliner with a built in smudger (we’ll see how that goes). Also in my bag was an instant eye smoother called Revitalift miracle blur, I can always use an eye cream. Oh & the last thing in my bag were two bottles of Elnett hairspray which I gave away because I think it’s one of the worst smelling hairsprays every made.
