In any Korean spa you will find roasted barley tea. So happy when I found this the other day (HAD TO but it $7), I love the flavor and it really helps digestion. It has many antioxidants, fiber,
helps to cleanse your body of toxins, preserve skin elasticity and promote better blood circulation. Very common in the Korean household 🙂

Grandma Green Thumb
I wanted to share some pictures from my gram’s house. She grows the prettiest flowers & plants, it inspires me each time I go over to visit her. She is so funny, most of her flowers have come from people’s homes where she’ll grab a piece of stem from a flower she likes & will come home to plant it. There’s a cool story behind each plant but my favorite story is about the white Calla Lilly that starting growing out of nowhere! My grandma never planted it. What’s even more amazing is that the Calla Lilly was my mother’s favorite flower in the whole world, & it started growing in my grandma’s garden the year after my mother passed away. 🙂 That is God’s work.
These are just a few pictures of some of her plants & flowers, she has much more all over the house.

True Unconditional Love
On April 13 2013 my life changed in the best way possible. Gianna Valentina was born healthy 6lbs 15 oz. I still remember waking up that morning & feeling completely different, I can’t explain it. And I think maybe the look on my face looked different also because my husband decided to stay home from work that Friday. I sang to Gianna throughout the whole pregnancy ( I even took her to a NODOUBT concert when I was 5 mths) but that day Amazing Grace popped in my head so I was singing it to her all day, & even though I was extremely tired my husband made me go to prenatal yoga that day at 2pm; My water broke at 5 pm; I gave birth at 8:47 am Saturday morning.
That morning I heard the sweet sound of her first cry & it was the most beautiful sound I’d ever heard in my life 
It has been such an amazing journey. I’ve had so many firsts and a few lasts haha (first mommy mistakes); a year full of happy moments, a few tears here and there whether tears of joy or pure frustration lol. It is truly one of my biggest responsibilities and goals in life to be a good mother to my child. I’m proud of myself; proud of my husband and I feel so so blessed that we are her parents and we get to experience all of this together. My husband was raised by a single mother, I was also raised by only my mother & grandma. I would always pray & dream about having a loving family & I always knew that if I ever had children, they would have both parents & unconditional love. Gianna has two parents that love her more than life itself & two parents that love each other more than anything in the world. Thank you God.
I have mastered the cake pop! My dessert table came out pretty cool & I can’t wait to start my own desert company because I have absolutely fallen in love with making sweets! I love the creativity that comes along with making custom desserts! It’s soooooo fun ! ( Time consuming but very fun )
I thank God for our blessings everyday 🙂

Turn Your Tub Into A Spa
Do you make bath time a super relaxing experience? Candles? Music? Fancy Bubbles ? I find myself always making homemade treats for my body that have been great for helping my skin stay soft. Today I’d like to share a simple scrub with my lovely subscribers 🙂 I make it by using coffee (a caffeinated body scrub can help with circulation, collagen production, and temporarily reducing the appearance of cellulite)
So I make coffee & then I mix the used coffee grounds with #coconutoil in a jar & let it soak together overnight. The next day I use it in the shower & gently massage it into my skin! It’s completely worth the mess you make in the shower lol. One of my dreams is to have my own line of beauty products (Dream Big) I can’t wait for that dream to come true!
