Multitasking

Love being awake when my family is asleep. I get some nice relaxing me time to do facial masks!

And I’m usually doing a load of laundry while masks are on my face.

I don’t measure this when I mix it I just keep adding water until I get a nice smooth paste (not too thick). Okay & when this stuff dries on your skin you literally cannot even talk, smile etc. It’s so rad lol

I leave this mask on for like 30 minutes; my skin is red afterwards but it goes away by morning. IMG_2057 IMG_2056 IMG_2055 IMG_2053 IMG_2054I have combination skin & I use this once a month.

The terry cloth headband is from Sally’s  #Iloveit

Flat Irons

So I recently purchased a new flat iron because I gave away my GHD flat iron to my sister in law. I got this new one at Cosmoprof & I am so pleased with it. Much better than the GHD & CHI ( I had a CHI flat iron before the GHD) This Paul Mitchell flat iron leaves my hair so much shinier & smoother. I’ve never tried Titanium anything on my hair but it seems like my hair loves it !
I always let my hair air dry & I use Tresemme heat tamer spray on my locks. The mini Babybliss flat iron is for my baby hairs & touch ups. I highly recommened these amazing flat irons they get the job done!! You know what I mean 😁           p

Health Is Everything

I believe that vitamins are essential to life. I started taking vitamins when I was about 18 & have been taking them ever since. I think the first brand of vitamins I took was called Geritol (multivitamin) my grandmother bought them for me. She is very big on vitamins & now I am very big on vitamins. I also give my toddler vitamins, you can see in the picture below. She loves them!

Since I can’t eat fish everyday I make sure to take Omega 3 supplements , sooooooo many good reasons why you should add this to your life.

Main benefits from wild salmon Omega 3 fatty acids

  • High Quality Protein
  • Essential Amino Acids
  • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B
  • Vitamin E
  • Appreciable amounts of calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus

I’m also trying out Niacin for the first time because I read it’s effective in reducing wrinkles as well as preventing them.

Some benefits of B-12 are:

  • It helps in healthy regulation of the nervous system, reducing depression, stress, and brain shrinkage.
  • Helps in cell reproduction and constant renewal of the skin.
  • Vitamin B 12 helps protect against cancers including breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancer.

I also started taking the Kirkland Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins about 3 weeks ago. It’s also my first time taking these so I will give an update in a couple months. I’ve read all good things about these vitamins so I’m very excited to see what they do for me.

Do you guys take vitamins?

P.S.

Do what feels right for your body, and contact a nutritionist or a trusted doctor to help you come up with a routine that works for you.

Aztec Secret

IMG_1590AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY is bentonite clay from Death Valley, California, where it is sun- dried for up to six months in temperatures that sometimes reach 134 degrees. This is another beauty secret that has been around for centuries. All skin types can use this clay (especially good for people with blemishes) I tend to use this at least once a month to prevent breakouts during my period. All you have to do is mix this clay with apple cider vinegar until you get a creamy paste, you can also add some honey for extra moisture.

Have any of you ever tried this mask before? If so let me know how your experience was, I’d love to hear about it!
